Tell us your story – how and why do YOU kick butts?

Posted by Gustavo Torrez on 26 Jan 2016

Each year, youth advocates, teachers and community leaders organize events on Kick Butts Day that empower youth to spread the word about tobacco use, the No. 1 cause of preventable death.

While we all come together on one day of action for one common cause, we all kick butts in different ways for different reasons. In celebration of Kick Butts Day, we want to hear your stories. What are you doing to kick butts – and why? Are you advocating for policy change in your community? Do you fight tobacco in honor of a loved one? Are you encouraging a friend or relative to quit smoking?

To help you share your story, we’ve created a #iKickButts photo generator. This new tool allows you to upload an image that illustrates how and why you kick butts. Once you’ve used the photo generator, share your photo on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #iKickButts. Make sure to tell us how or why you kick butts in your tweet or Facebook/Instagram post.

The Kick Butts Day team shares why we kick butts – tell us your story!

Your photos will also be displayed in our #iKickButts photo gallery, which will showcase the ways we are collectively making incredible progress toward our common goal: to end tobacco use and make the next generation tobacco-free.

So what are you waiting for? Join us and post your #iKickButts story today!
